Lastlings present their sophomore album 'Perfect World', an exploration of the mental and emotional hurdles that come with heartache and romantic loss. Like its predecessor 'First Contact', Lastlings’ second record is deeply thematic and unconditionally personal, weaving a thorough storyline that transverses feelings of insecurity and vulnerability over the course of its 12 tracks. Featuring the singles ‘Get What You Want’, ‘Holding Me Like Water’, ‘Noise’ and ‘Out My Head’, Perfect World reflects the sibling duo's elegant ability to craft empathetic and relatable stories through song, floating on top of hard-hitting production built for the dancefloor.

Hard Rock is my heart, Synthwave is my soul. Keepsake was a great addition to my musical tastes and collection; Now comes... Giving The World Away. By far my favorite track is "Take My Hand." It definitely resonates '80s and one band in particular... The Cure. If only Robert Smith would listen to this; I could only imagine what a collaborative effort between the two would possibly sound like. Bravo Hatchie. Sylentwolf
